Managed fields, scouted birds
The Valley is one of the best places in the country to hunt dove, and the reason is simple: agriculture. Sunflower, sorghum, and harvested fields draw white-winged and mourning dove in big numbers. Doves feed heavily on sunflower seeds, so we plant and manage our fields specifically to hold birds all season long. We scout and set up on fields where the birds are actively feeding, so you start the hunt under the flight lines instead of waiting for something to happen.
Morning or evening flights
Dove move on a feeding schedule, so we hunt the two windows when they're most active — early morning and late afternoon into evening. Mornings tend to be cooler with steady movement off the roost; evenings can bring heavy, fast flights as birds pour into the feed before dark. We'll set your time based on what the birds are doing that week.
Built for groups and first-timers
Dove hunting is the most social kind of wingshooting there is. It's perfect for a group of buddies, a family outing, a corporate trip, or introducing someone to hunting for the first time. The pace keeps everyone engaged, the shooting is challenging without being intimidating, and there's no special skill required to have a great day. We help with field position and safety so newer hunters feel comfortable from the first flight.
Fast birds, real challenge
Don't let the relaxed atmosphere fool you — dove are humbling. White-wings come in fast and high, and mourning dove twist and dart unpredictably. Bring more shells than you think you need. Even seasoned wingshooters burn through boxes on a good Valley evening, and that's exactly why hunters keep coming back.
We handle the logistics
You bring your shotgun, shells, and license; we take care of the field, the setup, and the post-hunt bird care. The goal is a smooth day where the only thing you have to think about is the next bird coming over the treeline.
